PropelSense is a Ship Propulsion Intelligence Platform, developed in collaboration with Meyer Turku, that utilizes a trained machine learning model to provide instant, condition-aware propulsion power estimates for large vessels. By inputting ten specific vessel and environmental parameters such as speed, draft, wind, and wave height, naval engineers, sea trial teams, and ship operators receive accurate power estimates based on real operational data. Beyond its core predictive engine, the platform provides a comprehensive suite of analytical tools, including a sea trial management dashboard with automated PDF reporting, live marine weather analytics, interactive vessel traffic maps, and detailed propulsion monitoring. Together, these features equip users to actively optimize voyage speed and fuel consumption, support emissions regulatory compliance, and objectively verify vessel performance during sea trials. |
